When YesColours and J. Adams & Co. began developing the colour palette for their collaboration, one shared philosophy quickly became clear: truly beautiful objects are made to last. Each luminaire begins as an exploration of form, materiality and light in J. Adams & Co.’s London studio, before being handcrafted in Birmingham using over fifty years of manufacturing heritage.
That alignment shaped the creative direction from the outset. Both brands believe that restraint is not the same as simplicity, that place and process matter, and that materials should be allowed to speak for themselves. The handmade brass and glass lights sit naturally alongside a palette inspired by industrial heritage, creating a considered interior story where colour, craft and materiality work in harmony.
